Mrs. Brenda Mcmahan

Brenda Castleberry McMahan, age 66, of Rising Fawn, GA, left this earthly world and entered into the presence of Jesus her savior on August 19, 2021. She was born on March 3, 1955 in Trenton, GA and was raised in Ider, AL. Brenda was known to everyone as a kind and loving person who always had a smile on her face and would do anything for anybody. She enjoyed spending time with her family and singing in church. More than anything she enjoyed spoiling her grandchildren and watching them play sports. Her three grandchildren were her absolute pride and joy.

Brenda was preceded in death by her parents Noah and Mildred Castleberry; brother Terry Castleberry.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband of 46 years James McMahan; son Jamey (Jessi) McMahan of Darien, GA; grandchildren Madi McMahan, Reagan McMahan, and Blake McMahan all of Darien, GA; Sisters Yvonne (Newell) Adkins of Ider, AL and Sandra Shipley of Bryant, AL; brother Riley (Marjorie) Castleberry of Dunlap, TN; sister in-law Debra Castleberry of Bryant, AL; many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Monday, August 23, 2021 at Moore Funeral Home in Trenton, GA with Jamey McMahan and Rev. Reece Fauscett officiating. She will be laid to rest at Hanna Cemetery in Rising Fawn, GA.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, August 22, 2021 from 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM and on Monday from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM at the funeral home.
