Doris Clark

LOOKOUT MTN: Doris Clark, age 82, passed away October 13, 2021. She was born April 30, 1939 to the late Woodrow and Emma Cates. Doris was of the Baptist faith. She loved gardening, painting, ceramics, and spending time with family.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her sons Tony Clark and Lamar Clark; grandson Lebron Portwood; brothers Leon Cates and Harvey Cates.

Left to cherish her memory are her sons and daughters-in-law, Phillip and Sherry Clark, Dennis and Regina Clark; seven grandchildren Chris Clark, Valerie Clark, Daniel (Bethany) Clark, Matthew Clark, Jennifer Clark, Lisa (Bill) Coffey, and Troy Portwood; seven great-grandchildren; sisters Janice Massey and Gwendolyn “Sissy” Blevins; brothers Grandville Cates and Devoit (Pam) Cates; nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM EDT Saturday, October 16, 2021 at the Trenton Chapel with Brother Tommy Phillips officiating. She will be laid to rest in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.

Visitation will be held Friday from 3:00 PM until 7:00 PM and Saturday 12:00 PM ~ 2:00 PM EDT at Moore Funeral Home in Trenton, GA.
