Doyce "Doc" Kinsey

BRYANT, AL: Doyce Eugene “Doc” Kinsey, age 67, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, January 16, 2022 with his family by his side. He was born November 21, 1954 to Louise Brown and the late Arthur E. Kinsey. Doc proudly served his country in the United States Navy.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his brother, William Leeray Kinsey.

He is survived by loving wife of 29 years, Sue Kinsey; mother, Louise Brown; step-son, Chad Garrett; sisters, Virgina Blansit and Darana Tipton; brother, Jeff Kinsey; and step-grandchildren, Conner and Colby Garrett.

Funeral services will be held in the Bryant Chapel of Moore Funeral Home on Wednesday, January 19, 2022 at 2:00 PM ET (1:00 CT) with Brother Chad Garrett officiating. Interment will follow at Straightway Baptist Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, January 18, 2022 from 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM ET and on Wednesday from 1:30 PM – 2:00 PM at the funeral home.
