Granville "Barry" Lee Pope

BARRY POPE   BRYANT, AL: Granville “Barry” Lee Pope, age 71, passed away April 27, 2018.  He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and brother He was preceded in death by his parents, Harvey Clayton and Alpha Omega Pope, sister Alpha Jean Robinson, brother Harvey C.  “Buddy”  Pope, Jr. He is survived by his loving wife of fifty-three years, Margaret Pope; daughter Wendy (Brad) Tipton, Chattanooga, TN; son Frankie Pope, Bryant, AL.; sisters Shirley (Clem) Hicks, Bryant, AL. and Lucille Howard, Trenton, GA.; one grandchild, one great-grandchild, nieces, nephews, and a host of friends. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM EDT Tuesday, May 1, 2018 in the Bryant Chapel of Moore Funeral Home with Brother Brad Bridges officiating.  Burial will follow in Bryant Cemetery. Visitation will be held Monday 4:00 PM ~ 8:00 PM EDT; Tuesday 11:00 AM ~ 1:00 PM.
