Mr. Hugh Harper Ouzts

Hugh Harper Ouzts, 91, of Trenton, GA passed away on Friday, August 26, 2022 at his residence.
A graveside service will be held at 10:30 AM on Wednesday, September 7, 2022 at Chattanooga National Cemetery.
Hugh was born April 24, 1931 in Mathiston, MS to the late Walter and Nell Ouzts. He proudly served his country in the United States Army and was a Korean War Veteran. Mr. Ouzts retired as a supervisor from Dupont in Chattanooga, TN after thirty-five years of service. He was a lifetime member of VFW 1289 and attended Calvary Chapel in Chattanooga, TN.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Barbara Jean Ouzts.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Judy Gass Shirley Ouzts; children, Michael Rhett (Brenda) Ouzts, Stephen Bradley Ouzts, Sheila (Mickey) Parkerson, Kat (Billy) Gass, Michael (Eva) Gass, Randy Gass and Ward (Efrain) Gass; 12 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
