Mr. Larry Lee Powell

Larry Lee Powell, 58, of New Salem, GA passed away on Friday, January 21, 2022. Lee was a perfect example of a husband, father, leader and friend. He was a hard-working man and was always willing to help others. Lee had a huge heart for people, was very humble and means a lot to a lot of different people. He loved drag racing, Chevrolet cars and deer hunting. Lee’s smile and laugh will be missed by all who knew him.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Brenda Powell; sister, Ellen McBee and brother in-law, Michael McBee.

Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 36 years, Renae Powell; daughters, Leeola (Aaron) Raines, EmmaLee Powell and Audrey Powell; father, Larry Powell: sister, Joy (Billy) Wooten; and brother, David Wayne “Tuck” (Reana) Powell.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 – 8:00 PM on Tuesday, January 25, 2022 at Moore Funeral Home in Trenton, GA.
