Martha Jean Ross

DALTON, GA: Martha Jean Ross, age 83, formerly of Hinkle, GA, passed away on Monday, July 19, 2021. She was born January 14, 1938 to the late Lester and Mary Bell Higdon. Martha was a sweet, loving lady and a former member of Hinkle Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, Martha was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Ross; sisters, Frances Longwith, Ruth Tyler, Betty McNally and Linda Farmer; and brother, Jimmy Higdon.
Survivors include her sister in-law, Ruby Higdon; brother in-law, Bob Longwith; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 22, 2021 from 11:00 AM – 11:45 AM at Moore Funeral Home in Trenton, GA. A graveside service will follow at 12:30 PM at the Chattanooga National Cemetery.
