RINGGOLD GA: Philip Ray “Gocky” Everett, age 81, passed away in his sleep on Saturday, January 23, 2021. Gocky loved the Lord and his family. He was a United States Army veteran, enjoyed woodworking, was an expert modifier and an avid rabbit hunter who loved his hunting dogs.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Judy Everett; daughter, Janet Vandergriff; grandson, Stephen Vandergriff; parents, Thomas and Hazel Everett; sister, Phyllis Wilbanks.

Left to cherish his memories are Tom Everett and Jennifer Welchel; grandchildren, Taylor Everett, Maggie and Daniel Chilton

The family will receive friends at Moore Funeral Home on Wednesday, January 27, 2021 from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday with Brother Eddie Cantrell officiating. A graveside service will follow around 3:15 at Hamilton Memorial Gardens in Hixson, TN.
