Mr. Randy Tishaw
March 19, 1964 — August 20, 2022
Randolph William “Randy” Tishaw, 58, of Trenton, GA passed away on Saturday, August 20, 2022. Randy was an “Old Soul” who had the most beautiful heart. He saw beauty in the little things that most people miss. His family misses him more than their hearts can bear but take comfort in knowing that he is no longer suffering. He has been made new and is able to run and walk again and will never have to take another insulin shot. There will never be another person like Randy, his family loved him very much because he loved them in a way no one else will ever love then.
Randy was the most selfless man, he loved doing for others even if it meant he would do without. He got so much joy bringing watermelons or big bags of Ellijay apples to his grandbabies. He took pride in working in his greenhouse and planting every fruit tree and berry bush imaginable so his legacy will live on and feed his grandbabies even now that he's gone.
Randy was a farmer most of his life and became well known as the “Tomato Man”. He planted big gardens and when his family fussed about working in the fields, he would say “The family that picks together, sticks together”. He will be missed by all who knew him.
He was preceded in death by his father, Carl William Tishaw; grandparents, Ed and Bessie Tishaw; and several aunts and uncles.
Left to cherish his memory are his mother, Gladys Tishaw; children, Heather Harrison (Marshal Tyson) and Ryan Tishaw (Pam Morgan); sisters, Judy (Larry) Hunt and Debbie Reeves; grandchildren, Kyleigh Wilson, Serenity Tishaw, Ella Tishaw, Kyler Harrison, Kyson Harrison; bonus grandbabies, Damian Smalley, Hadley and Dylan Wilson; several nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the Bryant Chapel of Moore Funeral Home on Tuesday, August 23, 2022 at 1:00 ET. The family requests that guests wear bright colors to the service as they celebrate Randy’s life.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday from 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM ET and on Tuesday from 11:00 AM until the funeral hour.
