Mr. Ronald Green

Ruben Ronald Green, age 78, of Trenton, GA, passed away on August 21, 2021. Ronald was born and raised in Soddy Daisy, TN. He spent his early years building houses and working on vehicles with his brothers. He met his wife, Retha, in the late 1980’s and soon adopted Ashley and Alicia and moved to Sand Mountain. He enjoyed fishing, hiking, home improvement projects and watching wrestling. He retired from Dixie Yarns after 46 years of service. He loved to sing and led songs at Sequatchie Valley Holiness Church where he attended church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ulyses and Martha Green; sister, Lois Henderson; brothers, Sonny Green and Buck Green; sons, Ronald Leon Green and Michael Anthony Green; daughter, Michele Green.

Survivors include his wife of thirty-three years, Retha Green; son, Richard Green; step-sons, Tony Harwood and Kevin Lee; sister, Patricia Davis; adopted granddaughters, Ashley and Alicia Lee; five grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild, several nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.

Funeral services will be at 11:00AM on Wednesday, August 25, 2021 at Moore Funeral Home in Trenton, GA with Brother Rodney Stephens, Brother Brett Stephens and Brother David Parker officiating. He will be laid to rest at Chattanooga Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 4:00PM until 8:00PM and on Wednesday at 10:00AM.
