Mr. Ronnie Powell
October 11, 1954 — April 21, 2020
FLINTSTONE, GA: Ronald “Ronnie” W. Powell, 65, passed away April 21, 2020. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and uncle.
He worked for Kraft Wrigley Mars for forty years. Ronnie graduated from Dade County High School and married his high school sweetheart, Debbie Castleberry on June 30, 1974. He adored their grandchildren; they were his life.
In addition to his loving wife of forty-five years he is survived by his daughter Kristy (Clint) McDaniel of Chickamauga; son Wes Powell, Trenton; grandchildren Luke Powell, Flat Rock; Kaci McDaniel, Chickamauga; Weslynn Powell, Las Vegas; sister Mary Ann (Paul) Pierce, Lookout Mountain; brother Terry (Phyllis) Powell, Trenton; special great nieces Taylor Williams and Sarah Williams, Flintstone; and a host of friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Winfred and Jody Powell; sisters Louise Sampson and Linda Crabtree; half-brothers Frank Powell and Tommy Powell.
Due to the current health regulations, the immediate family will have a private graveside service at Lake Hills Memorial Gardens with Brother David Tate officiating.
