Mrs. Sharon Ann Barnes

Sharon Ann Barnes, 60, of Bryant, AL passed away at home on Thursday, August 11 2022 surrounded by her loving family. Sharon was a very proud member of the North Sand Mountain community and a huge supporter of the high school band and the Alabama Crimson Tide. She was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister and grandmother. She was dearly loved by her family and will be missed by all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her father, Woodrow Workman; brothers, Junior, Thomas, Sammy and Claude Workman; sisters, Geraldine Johnson and Wilma Tinker.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband of thirty-four years, John Barnes; mother, Betty Workman; daughter, Cherish (Chris) Sutherland; son, Ron (Beth Gass) Waldrop; sisters, Denise (George) Wilson and Deloris (Glen) Norris; brothers, Clyde and Noah Workman; grandchildren, Laelynn Sutherland, Lane Waldrop and Holden Waldrop; very special friends, Sharivea Ni’t and Sandy Pritchett; several nieces, nephews and a host of friends.

Funeral services will be held at the Bryant Chapel on Moore Funeral Home on Saturday, August 13, 2022 at 10:00 AM ET. She will be laid to rest in Higdon Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Friday from 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM ET and Saturday from 9:00 AM – 10:00 AM ET.
