TRAVIS “POP” WESTBROOK RISING FAWN, GA: Travis “Pop” Dean Westbrook, age 89, passed away September 19, 2019. He was a member of Lea’s Chapel Baptist Church, Valley Head, AL. Mr. Westbrook proudly served his country in the US Army. He was preceded in death by his wife, Martha Westbrook; parents Lloyd and Exa De Alva Westbrook. Survivors include his daughters Linda (Danny) Swafford, Apison, TN; Susan (Randy) Gross, Birchwood, TN.; Christine Westbrook, Henagar, AL., Emily Westbrook, Flat Rock, AL.; sons Travis “Tab” (Robin) Westbrook Jr. of Rising Fawn and David (Brenda) Westbrook, Madison, GA.; eleven grandchildren, twenty-one great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; nieces, nephews, and a host of friends. Memorial services will be held Tuesday, September 24, 2019 at 2:00 PM CDT at Lea’s Chapel Baptist Church, Valley Head, AL. with Brother Richard Ellis officiating. Interment will follow in the church’s cemetery with full military honors. The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service.
