Amos Newton Lawson

AMOS LAWSON   TRENTON, GA: Amos Newton Lawson, age 80 passed away, Thursday, November 15, 2018. He was a heavy equipment operator for over 55 years and member of Church of Christ Saint Elmo, TN. He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Mary Bell Lawson. Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Sara Lawson; daughters, Terrie (Robert) Higdon, Rising Fawn, Georgia; sons, Dewayne (Kim) Lawson, Trenton, Georgia and Jeffery (Rhonda) Lawson, Chattanooga, Tennessee; sister, Dorothy (Billy) Higdon, Higdon, Alabama; brother, Clifford Lawson, Trenton, Georgia; four grandchildren and four great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and a host of friends. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 PM EST Sunday, November 18, 2018 in the Chapel of Moore Funeral Home with Brother C. G. Griffith officiating.
