Betty Carter

TRENTON, GA: Betty June Carter, age 83, passed away Wednesday, September 26, 2012. She was a loving mother and grandmother, a seamstress, and enjoyed fishing. She was a member of Trenton Church of Christ.
Mrs. Carter was preceded in death by her loving husband of 62 years Henry “Shorty” Carter; son Eddie L. Carter.
Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law Marie & Roger Buffington; sister Evelyn Tinker Miller; daughter-in-law Nina Carter; two grandchildren Cary Carter and Alex Buffington; one great-grandchild Chandler Carter; several nieces and nephews; host of friends.
Funeral services will be held Friday at 1:00PM in the chapel of Moore Funeral Home with Minister Don Walker, and Brother Lamar Hulvey officiating. Interment will follow in Lake Hills Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be Thursday 4PM ~ 8PM and Friday 11AM ~ 1PM.
