Betty Moon

Betty Ellen Moon, age 70, passed away at her home in Trenton, Georgia, on Thursday, December 18, 2025.

Betty was an easygoing soul with a kind heart, though those who knew her well understood she had a strong spirit when pushed. She was always willing to help anyone in need, however she could. Betty loved her family deeply, and they were the center of her life.

She found joy in the simple pleasures, especially working puzzles and playing card games. Betty attended Trenton First Baptist Church before health issues limited her mobility, and her faith remained an important part of her life.

She is survived by her daughter, Cristina Hackler, and her sister, Randy Kay.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Randall Charles Moon; her daughter, Diana Blackwell; her mother, Ila Mae Clark; and several siblings.

No formal services will be held.

Memorial contributions may be made to Moore Funeral Home to assist the family with cremation expenses.
