Brandon Franks

Donald Brandon Franks, 49, of Lookout Mountain, GA, passed away in a tragic automobile accident on Saturday, August 23, 2025, in Calhoun, GA. His beloved wife and son, Chesley and Griffin, are currently recovering in a local hospital.

Brandon was much loved by all who knew him. He never met a stranger and will be remembered for his infectious smile, kind heart, and joyful personality. He had worked at Rock City since the age of 15, where his dedication and warmth touched countless lives. Above all, Brandon loved his family dearly and cherished the simple moments of spending time together, especially traveling with Chesley and Griffin.

He was a member of Tiftonia Holiness Church and lived his life with a heart full of love for the Lord, his family, and his community.

Brandon is survived by his wife, Chesley Beasley Franks; son, Griffin Franks; parents, Donald and Kathy Franks; sister, Shannon (Shane) Pace; nephews, Cody Pace and Caleb (Alley) Pace; niece, Cheyenne (Cody) Goins; along with several great nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and many dear friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Harold Harmon, Robert and Bernice Franks; uncle, Bobby Franks; aunt, Patricia (Larry) Carter; and cousin, Letitia Stephens.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, August 30, 2025, in the Larry Moore Memorial Chapel of Moore Funeral Home in Trenton, with Brother Troy Lawson and Brother Aaron Wooten officiating. Brandon will be laid to rest at Lake Hills Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, August 29, from 1:00 PM until 8:00 PM, and on Saturday from 11:00 AM until the service hour at 1:00 PM.
