Jeffrey “Jeff” Scott Daniels, age 54, passed away on Tuesday, July 11, 2023, at his home in Trenton, GA. He was born in Fort Oglethorpe, GA on July 6, 1969 to the late Brother Johnny and Regina Andrews Daniels. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father, Pop Pop, friend, and pastor.
Brother Jeff dedicated 32 years of his life to his pastoral work. He served as a pastor at White Oak Baptist Church in Trenton, GA for many years. Additionally, he shared his ministry at Suck Creek Baptist and South Rossville Baptist. Brother Jeff's commitment to serving others and spreading the gospel was evident throughout his life. He furthered his passion for ministry by achieving a Doctorate in Pastoral Ministry from Covington Theological Seminary.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 33 years, Kim Daniels; his children, Nicole (Jared) Thompson and Scott Daniels; as well as his grandchildren, Dylan Thompson, Ridge Thompson, and Kimmie Daniels (Catelynn McCoy); aunt, Carolyn Phillips; special cousin, Kay Honea; and other extended family.
Funeral services to honor Brother Daniels will be held on Friday, July 14 at 1:00 PM in the Trenton Chapel of Moore Funeral Home. Reverend Eddy Rushing and Reverend Jared Thompson will officiate the service. He will be laid to rest at Tennessee Georgia Memorial Park in Rossville, GA.
Visitation will be from 4:00 until 8:00 on Thursday and on Friday from 11:00 AM until the service hour.
