Bruce Moore

Bruce David Moore, 59, of Knoxville, TN, passed away peacefully at his home on Thursday, June 26, 2025.

Born on July 3, 1965, in Fort Oglethorpe, GA, Bruce was the son of David Moore and the late Nellie Marie Baugh Moore. He was raised in Trenton, GA, where he formed lifelong friendships and fond memories before moving to Knoxville to pursue his career.

Following his graduation from college, Bruce began a long and distinguished career with the FBI. He was deeply committed to his work and was known for his integrity, dedication, and quiet strength. Respected by his peers and cherished by those who knew him, Bruce’s impact extended far beyond his professional accomplishments.

A private man with a generous heart, Bruce found joy in his family and took pride in their accomplishments. He will be remembered for his steady presence, his devotion to those he loved, and the quiet way he made a difference in the lives of many.

He is survived by his father, David Moore; sister, Teresa (Hugh) Pinkleton; niece, Ashley Pinkleton; great-niece, Shyia; and several extended family members and friends. Bruce was preceded in death by his beloved mother, Nellie Moore.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 PM on Monday, June 30, 2025, in the Trenton Chapel of Moore Funeral Home. He will be laid to rest at Lake Hills Memorial Gardens following the service. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday from 11:00 AM until the service hour.
