Charles Ray Blackstock, Jr.

Charles Ray Blackstock, Jr., age 67, of Chickamauga, passed away on Friday, September 19, 2025 at his home. 

Ray as he was known, was born on November 5, 1957 to Charles Ray and Deanna Hampton Blackstock. Ray was a truck driver for many years with Bobby Fryar Trucking in Chattanooga. Aside from his career in truck driving, Ray enjoyed working on his cars, taking care of his dog and loved spending time with his grandchildren. 

Ray was preceded in death by his father, Charles Ray Blackstock, Sr; his sister, Glenda Tinker and his grandmother, Hazel Blackstock.

He is survived by his mother, Dena Hampton Blackstock; daughters, Brandy Roberts and Wynter Ellis; sisters, Brenda Burns, Sharon Barnett and Kay Hayes, grandchildren, Amber Payge Stallings, Dakota Fawn Brown and Anna Hudson, Lillian Mahan, Lucas Mahan and Westin Mahan; great-grandchildren, Makalyn Payzleigh Miller, Hadley Rayne Williams, Brexley Reigh Williams, Brystol Skye Miller, Jasper Dewayne Miller, Huntley Raelynn Brown, Weylyn Lorenzo Stallings and Brynsley Rose Brown; niece, Chasity Whiting and great-nephew, Peyton Whiting; several nieces and nephews.

No formal services will be held at this time.

The family asks that donations be made to Moore Funeral Home to help with funeral expenses.
