Charlie Brown

Alvin Lester "Charlie" Brown, age 58, of Trenton, Georgia, passed away on Thursday, July 16, 2026, at CHI Memorial Hospital in Chattanooga, Tennessee.

Known affectionately as "Charlie" by his family and friends, he was born on August 30, 1967, to the late W.C. and Katherine Wilson Brown. A longtime resident of Dade County, Charlie built a career as an electrician with Electric Controls, Inc. in Chattanooga, where he was known for his strong work ethic and dedication.

While he took pride in his work, Charlie's greatest joy was his family. He cherished every opportunity to spend time with those he loved, especially his grandchildren, who brought immeasurable happiness to his life. An outdoorsman at heart, he found peace in nature and enjoyed hunting and fishing whenever he had the chance.

In addition to his parents, Charlie was preceded in death by his sister, Angie Brown, and his brother, Claude Brown.

Left to cherish his memory are his two sons, Eric Brown and A.J. Brown; his devoted companion, Toni Sims; his sister, Rita Cole; and his nine beloved grandchildren: Hayden, Chase, Jake, Lillie Jane, Bryson, R.J., Jaydon, Grandal, and Allie.

In keeping with Charlie's wishes, no formal services will be held.
