Dellia Deanna Blackstock, age 87, of Trenton, Georgia, passed away on Friday, February 27, 2026.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 5, 2026, at 12:00 PM in the Larry Moore Memorial Chapel of Moore Funeral Home in Trenton, Georgia, with Brother Eddie Cantrell officiating. Interment will follow at Baptist Cemetery in Trenton, Georgia.
The family will receive friends at Moore Funeral Home on Wednesday from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM and again on Thursday from 10:00 AM until the service hour.
Deanna was born on August 16, 1938, to the late Phines and Lorena Tinker Hampton. She worked for many years at the Trenton Spinning Mill and later retired from Shaw Industries. A lover of sports, Deanna played softball for many years and remained a devoted fan of the Atlanta Braves and the Georgia Bulldogs throughout her life.
She enjoyed the outdoors, especially camping and fishing, and found joy in the simple pleasures of life. Deanna had a happy spirit and loved dancing, music, laughter, and time spent with family. Above all, she treasured her children, grandchildren, and the many generations that followed. She was of the Baptist faith.
Left to cherish her memory are her children, Brenda Burns, Kay Hayes, Sharon Barnett, and Durenda Bradley; her sister, Elva Brown; her grandchildren, Renee Smith, Jason Smith, Star White, Jeremy Sims, Chad Sims, Chasity Whited, Brandy Blackstock, and Wynter Carrington; and her great-grandchildren, Cody Smith, Dakota Gravitt, Alice Scruggs, Rodney Scruggs, Amber Scruggs, Justin Sims, Tucker Sims, Peyton Whited, Baily Smith, Emma Smith, and Samuel Smith.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ray Blackstock, Sr.; her son, Ray Blackstock, Jr.; her daughter, Glenda Blackstock Tinker; her siblings, Ruby Nunley, Ola Sparks, Ollie Sullivan, Lessie Atchley, Billy Hampton, and Con Hampton; her grandchildren, Tabatha Scruggs, Steven Nichols, and Danny Burns; and great-grandson, Trevor Smith.
Deanna memory will live on in the stories shared around family tables, in the laughter of generations who carry her spirit forward, and in the love she so freely gave throughout her life.
