Debra "Debbie" Jean Delkamp-Richardson, age 65, of Trenton, Georgia, went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Thursday, July 9, 2026, at her home surrounded by her loving family.
Debbie was born on April 23, 1961, in Inglewood, California, to the late Melvin and Edith Reynolds. She embraced life with an adventurous spirit and a joyful heart. Having grown up near the ocean, she always cherished the beach and loved traveling whenever she had the opportunity.
A gifted gardener and passionate crafter, Debbie found beauty in creating and nurturing. She lived life fearlessly, proudly driving her way into the NASCAR 150+ MPH Club at Talladega and checking two skydiving adventures off her bucket list at the ages of 50 and 60. Her generous heart was evident through her years as an avid blood donor, her compassion for rescuing animals, and her dedication to serving others. Her love of fashion was just another reflection of her vibrant personality, and she was always beautifully put together with an eye for color, style and detail.
Above all else, Debbie's faith in Jesus Christ was the foundation of her life. She faithfully attended Rising Fawn Church of God, where she served as a Sunday School teacher and was a devoted member of her church family. She also volunteered with Big Sister, was a member of the Goldwing Chapter, and worked for many years with Covenant Transport in Chattanooga, Tennessee but retired as a Claim Specialist.
Those left to cherish her precious memory include her beloved husband of 22 years, Robert Richardson; her daughters, Melanie (Jon) Inglett and Alida (Renard Perry) Richardson; her cherished grandchildren, Sara (Wyatt) Holst, Grace Inglett, Landon Inglett, Hailee McQuiston, Cole McQuiston, Emmitt Inglett, Chandler Perry and Chase Perry; along with numerous extended family members and a host of dear friends whose lives were blessed by knowing her.
In addition to her parents, Debbie was preceded in death by her beloved older brother, Jim Reynolds. Although their reunion was long awaited, her family finds comfort knowing they are all together again.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made in Debbie's honor to Rising Fawn Church of God.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at Rising Fawn Church of God on Saturday, July 25, 2026 at 4:00 PM. In honor of Debbie's vibrant personality and joyful outlook on life, the family kindly requests that those attending wear their brightest and most colorful attire—just as Debbie would have wanted.
Though she will be deeply missed, Debbie's unwavering faith, adventurous spirit, generous heart, and colorful legacy will continue to inspire all who had the privilege of knowing and loving her.
Moore Funeral Home of Trenton, Georgia is honored to serve the family of Debbie Delkamp-Richardson during this time.
