Mr. Dewey Ellis Maye

Dewey Ellis Maye, age 77, formerly of Sale Creek, TN., passed away March 31, 2021. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. He enjoyed fishing and singing, and was a member of Union Fork Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Tillman and Jewel Lee Maye and sister Maudie Wright.

Survivors include his loving wife of forty-three years, Robbie Bradford Maye; daughters Kimberly Goodpasture, Florence, SC.; Carmen Clingan, Soddy Daisy, TN.; Vicki Tremmier, Biloxi, MS.; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; sisters Hazel Poole, Sale Creek, TN.; Connie Cooper, Sale Creek, TN.; Trina Forester, Soddy Daisy, TN.; brother Robert Sutton, Mountain City, TN.; nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.

Funeral services will be held Monday, April 5, 2021 at 1:00 PM in the Trenton Chapel of Moore Funeral Home with Brother Jeff Myers officiating. He will be laid to rest in Hawkins Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Monday, April 5, 2021 from 11:00 AM ~ 1:00 PM.
