Donna Konkel

Donnamarie “Donna” Jean Konkel, age 75, of Menlo, GA, passed away peacefully at her home on June 21, 2025.

Born on September 28, 1949, in Southampton, New York, Donna spent most of her life in New York before settling on Lookout Mountain in Menlo, Georgia, where she enjoyed a quieter pace of life surrounded by nature. A true animal lover, Donna had a special place in her heart for dogs and spent much of her life rescuing and caring for them. She was also a gifted artist, known for her beautiful landscape and portrait paintings that captured both scenery and spirit with grace.

Earlier in life, Donna traveled across the country working with the Silver Dollar Shows carnival, where she brought joy to many as a game attendant. Her adventurous spirit and kind heart left an impression wherever she went.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Helen Trimpin; and her siblings, Margie Parent, Barbara Reichardt, Dorothy Muller, and Joseph Trimpin Jr.

Donna is survived by her beloved sons, James, John, David, and Tommy Davis; grandchildren, Kylie Joan, Savannah Lin, Damin Lee, Ryan Andrew, Carl, Joshua, Caleb, Kaitlyn, and Julia Davis; two great-grandchildren; as well as many nieces, nephews, and friends who will miss her dearly.

In keeping with her wishes, Donna will be cremated, and no formal services will be held. Her family and friends will carry her memory in their hearts and find comfort in the legacy she leaves behind.

The family would be grateful for memorial contributions to help cover the cost of Donna’s cremation. Donations may be made directly to the funeral home.
