Mrs. Earline Lea

Effie Earline Lea, 74, of Bryant, AL, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 26, 2022.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 29, 2022 at 12:00 PM (ET) at the Bryant Chapel of Moore Funeral Home. Graveside service will follow at Oak Lawn Memorial Park in Bryant, AL.

The family will receive friends Friday, October 28, 2022 from 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM and on Saturday from 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM ET.

Earline was born December 24, 1947 in Paint Rock, AL to the late Ruford and Fannie Mae Pennington Atchley. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother that endured many hardships throughout her life but remained a strong, loving, independent woman with a great personality. She will be greatly missed.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Greg Lea, and several brothers and sisters.

Left to cherish her memory are her loving husband of fifty-five years, Roy Lea; daughters Kathy (Chris) Moore, Janet “Journie” Lea, JoAnn Lea; son, Michael Lea; grandchildren Rory Lea, Dewayne Moore, Anna (Logan) Smith, Brittany Sanders, Sarah (Samuel) Stone, Erika Rodriguez, Melina Rodriguez, Chasity Moore, Blaine Sanders, Tanis Lea, Tegan Lea, Ryker Lea, Zander Lea; five great-grandchildren; sister, Erma Venable; brothers, Donald (Deanna) Atchley, Roy Atchley, Harold (Sue) Atchley; nieces, nephews, and a host of friends
