WILDWOOD, GA: Evelyn Coletta Cole, age 96, passed away July 12, 2019. She was a lifelong resident of Dade County. She married John B. Cole, Jr. in 1942. Evelyn, a loving wife and mother, enjoyed life, including playing guitar, sewing, cooking, and crocheting.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John B. Cole, Jr.; parents Elvin and Maude Cureton; brother John Cureton; son-in-law Joe Tatum.
Survivors include her daughter, Linda Tatum; two nieces, two nephews, and a host of friends.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, July 16, 2019 at 2:00 PM EDT in the Trenton Chapel with Pastor Michael Pettengill officiating. Burial will follow in the Bethlehem Cemetery, Slygo.
Visitation will be held from on Tuesday from 12:00 PM - 2:00 PM.
