Evelyn Pearl Satterfield

Evelyn Pearl Satterfield, a resident of Flat Rock, AL, passed away peacefully on April 26, 2023. She was 95 years old. A graveside service will be held in her honor at Stewart Cemetery in Fort Payne, AL on April 29, 2023, at 12:00 PM CT (1:00 ET). 

Evelyn was born on May 8, 1927, in Jackson County, AL to Charlie and Bertie Ziegler Moore. Her love for working outdoors and gardening brought her joy throughout her life. Those who had the pleasure of knowing Evelyn would agree that she was a sweet lady who always had a kind word to offer.

Evelyn’s husband, Willie Satterfield; sisters, Bernie Lee Wooden and Sarah Kirby; and brothers, Burnice Dee Moore and Leslie Earl Moore have preceded her in death.

Evelyn is survived by several nieces, nephews and extended family members who mourn her passing.

The family would like to extend their gratitude to the staff at Cumberland Health and Rehab as well as ABC Hospice for the compassionate care given to their loved one.
