Faye Lemmons

Wanda Faye Lemmons, age 88, of Trenton, Georgia, passed away peacefully at her home on Tuesday, March 24, 2026, surrounded by her children.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 27, 2026, at 2:00 PM in the Larry Moore Memorial Chapel of Moore Funeral Home in Trenton, Georgia, with minister Milton Stephens officiating. She will be laid to rest at Hooker Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Friday from 11:00 AM until the service hour at the funeral home.

Faye was a fun-loving mother, sister, aunt, and friend to many. She loved her family dearly and treasured the time she spent with them. Known for her warm personality, Faye never met a stranger and always enjoyed sharing a laugh. She took pride in her appearance and was rarely seen without being nicely dressed. Faye was a faithful member of Brown’s Ferry Road Church of Christ.

She is survived by her children, Hal Lemmons Jr. and Lisa Lemmons; brother, Ricky (Rosemary) Stephens; nephews, Richard (Allison) Stephens III and Ross (Heather) Stephens; special great-nephew, Richard Stephens IV; and special great-nieces, Roselynn, Rachel, Remy, and Raelyn.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Lemmons Sr.; her parents, Richard “Buss” Stephens and Cora Lawson Stephens; her sister, Sandra Price; and her nephew, Steve Price.

Faye will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
