Flo Castleberry

Flora “Flo” Lee Castleberry, age 88, peacefully passed away in her sleep on Friday, March 29, 2024, surrounded by her loving family.

A funeral service to commemorate Flo's life will take place on Monday, April 1, 2024 at 3:00 PM in the Trenton Chapel of Moore Funeral Home with Brother Robby Dunn officiating. Following the service, she will be laid to rest at Lake Hills Memorial Gardens.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects on Monday starting at 11:00 AM until the service begins at 3:00 PM.

Flo was born October 17, 1935 to the late Jess and Estelle Anderson Lynn. She was a well-known and talented seamstress who served the tri-state area for many years. She excelled in alterations and crafting a variety of garments ranging from baby clothes to wedding dresses, prom dresses, cheerleading outfits, band uniforms, and much more. However, beyond her professional accomplishments, Flo was known for her unconditional love as a mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister. Her family held a special place in her heart, especially her son Dink.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughter Debbie Powell; sons Ricky Castleberry, Jimmy Castleberry, Dink Castleberry, and Chuck (Tina) Castleberry; brother, Scott (Tina) Lynn; 9 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; along with several extended family members and friends.

Flo was reunited in eternal peace with her husband Bert Castleberry and siblings Imagean Thompson, Lynn Clark, James Lynn, and Junior Lynn who preceded her in death.
