Glenda Dale Clark, 79, of Trenton, Georgia, passed away peacefully at her home on Saturday, September 12, 2026.

Glenda was born and raised in Trenton, Georgia, the daughter of the late Woodrow Gross and Ruth Hartline Gross. Following high school, she enlisted in the United States Air Force, where she proudly served as a nurse’s aide at the Air Force hospital in Biloxi, Mississippi.

After her service in the Air Force, Glenda returned home to Trenton, where she later worked as a massage therapist. Throughout her life, she was known for her big heart and her willingness to go out of her way to help others. She was outgoing, giving, patient, and loving—a wonderful person who cared deeply for those around her.

Above all, Glenda loved her family. She was a devoted wife, a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and a dear friend to many. Her kindness and generous spirit will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

In addition to her parents, Glenda was preceded in death by her son, Jonathan Clark; grandson, Kaleb Clark; and brother, John Gross.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband of 54 years, Johnny Clark; daughter, Camilla Clark; granddaughter, Bella Newby and her husband, Matthew; grandson, Eric Clark; great-grandson, Colton Newby; sisters, Barbara Rosser, Regina Whited, Debbie Leverett, and Peggy Kepner; along with extended family and many friends.

In accordance with Glenda’s wishes, no services will be held at the funeral home.
