TRENTON, GA: Gloria Jean Weathers, age 72, passed away on Thursday, December 3, 2020. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She loved spoiling her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She enjoyed fishing and would go as often as she could.
She was preceded in death by her sons, Jessie Thomas Weathers, Jr. and Jessie Nathaniel Weathers; parents, Herman and Novella Gass; brothers, Bryan and Kenneth Gass; sisters, Sheila Spurgeon, Carol Wooten and Daina Cagle.
Left to cherish her memories are her husband of 52 years, Jessie Weathers; daughters, Donna (Tommy) Cordell, Dee Dee (Kenny) Bishop and Deborah (George) Peters; sisters, Brenda (Jackie) Smith and Dee Erwin; brother, James Gass; ten grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, December 7, 2020 in the chapel of Moore Funeral Home. Burial will be held in Browns Gap Cemetery.
Visitation will be held Monday from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM
