Helen Sullivan

Helen Fay Sullivan, age 80, of Trenton, Georgia, passed away peacefully on Monday, April 13, 2026, with her family by her side.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 17, 2026, at 1:00 PM in the Larry Moore Memorial Chapel of Moore Funeral Home in Trenton, Georgia, with Brother Michael Kilgore and Brother Jeff Sullivan officiating. Interment will follow at Payne Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM and on Friday from 11:00 AM until the service hour.

Helen was born on May 25, 1945, to the late Ralph and Allie Mae Durham. As the oldest of six daughters, she naturally carried a strong and spirited presence throughout her life. Helen was known for her spunky personality and her ability to bring joy wherever she went. She was often the life of the party, always laughing, joking, and making sure there was never a dull moment for those around her.

She enjoyed tending to her flower beds, caring for her koi pond and fish aquariums, and traveling with her family. Above all, Helen cherished her family and treasured every moment spent with them. She attended of New Vision Church of God.

Helen is survived by her children, Teresa (Herb) Womac and Terry Sullivan, Jr.; granddaughter, Amber Womac; sisters, Edna Gadd, Martha (Enoch) Hartman, Phyllis Lewallen, and Myra Riley; along with several nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 53 years, Terry Sullivan, Sr.; her daughter, Terri Sullivan; and her sister, Marilyn Lyons.

The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to Hearth Hospice for the compassionate care shown to Helen during her final days, especially Brandi and Crystal.
