Jackie Sue Tishaw

Jackie Sue Tishaw, of Bryant, Alabama, passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 5, 2026.

A funeral service to celebrate Jackie Sue's life will be held on Wednesday, July 8, at 12:00 PM ET (11:00 AM CT) in the Bryant Chapel of Moore Funeral Home with Brother Steve Wade officiating. Burial will follow at Floral Crest Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM ET and on Wednesday from 11:00 AM ET until the hour of service.

Jackie Sue was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother who loved her family dearly. She enjoyed the simple things in life, especially spending time with those she loved. She loved visiting flea markets, where she was always on the lookout for a special find, and she took pride in her collection of ceramic chickens. Jackie Sue also had a special love for dogs and enjoyed the companionship they brought. She had attended Floral Crest Seventh-day Adventist Church.

She is survived by her husband, Marcus Tishaw; her sons, Jody E. Tishaw and Matthew E. Tishaw; her brothers, Joel Casey and Wesley Setser; her grandchildren, Jase E. Tishaw and Harley M. Tishaw; and several nieces, nephews, other family members, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Delores Setser; her sister, Charlotte Hughes; and her grandparents, Wallace and Cecil Casey.

Jackie Sue will be remembered for her kind heart, her love for her family, and the happiness she found in life's simple pleasures. Her memory will be treasured by all who knew and loved her.
