Friends and Family are invited to come together to pay their respects on Tuesday, December 12, 2023 from 4:00-8:00 PM ET and on Wednesday from 10:30 AM until the service begins.

Kay was not only a loving wife and mother but also a blessed Mimi to her eight adored grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews whom she cherished dearly. Her love overflowed for her family, and she always strived to show everyone around her just how much they meant to her. Kay's adventurous spirit could often be found traveling alongside her husband and family. When she was able, Kay found solace in attending church where she made countless friends who became an extension of her beloved family. For nearly five decades, she was devoted to her faith as a member of the Holiness community; it was this deep faith that inspired Kay to care for others during their time of need. As a phlebotomist for Erlanger Health Group, she found purpose in serving others through healthcare. The impact she left on those she encountered throughout her life is immeasurable, and she will truly be missed by all.

Kay leaves behind a legacy of love survived by her children, Kristi (Timothy) Voiles of Chickamauga, GA; Timothy (Natasha) Parker, II of Trenton, GA; and Brittany (Andrew) Cardin of New Market, AL. Her eight grandchildren, Allyson Parker, Cannon Voiles, Anniston Parker, Lincoln Voiles, Callie Voiles, Benjamin Parker, and Audrey and Asher Cardin brought immense joy to her life. She is also survived by her brother, Aubrey Black of Lookout Mountain, GA; her sister, Annette Anderson of Flat Rock, AL; numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of family and friends who will always cherish their time spent with her.

In addition to her parents, John and Delma Lee York Black, Kay was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 37 years, Tim Parker Sr., whom she longed to reunite with in eternal rest. Additionally, Kay was preceded in death by her father-in-law, Billy Ray Parker of Chattanooga TN; her brother-in-law, Christopher Griggs; her niece Deandra Shaver; and many other loved ones who have gone before her.

Aubrey Black II, Cody Black, Darvin York, Greg York, D.J. Case, and Terry York will have the honor of serving as pallbearers.

The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to all those who provided dedicated care for Kay: LaShawn Bailey; Kelli Hinkle; Debbie Finlayson, the staff of Hearth Hospice, and to her dear late friend Crystal Adkins.
