Jeanette Ellis

Jeanette Ellis, age 79, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, May 10, 2025. A beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, Jeanette was a longtime resident of Bryant, Alabama.

Jeanette had a deep love for her family and took great joy in caring for them. She was as sweet as can be, even during difficult times, and her gentle spirit comforted those around her. She enjoyed traveling, shopping, gardening, and spending time with her loved ones. A woman of faith, she was a devoted member of Bryant Holiness Church.

She is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Charles Ellis; her children, Shannon Kesler and Greg (Joy) Ellis; her sister, Patricia Dawson; and her grandchildren, Chandler and Jordan Ellis, and Courtney and Nicholas Kesler.

Jeanette was preceded in death by her parents, Early and Cora Lee Key.

A funeral service to honor and celebrate Jeanette’s life will be held on Wednesday, May 14, 2025, at 1:00 PM EST in the Trenton Chapel of Moore Funeral Home, with Brother David Higdon officiating. She will be laid to rest following the service at Bryant Holiness Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the Trenton Chapel on Tuesday, May 13th, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, and again on Wednesday from 11:00 AM until the time of service.

Jeanette’s memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
