Jeanie Francis

Regina "Jeanie" Maudette Francis, age 62, of Signal Mountain, Tennessee, passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 21, 2024 at her home.

A Graveside Service honoring Jeanie's life will take place on Monday, March 25, 2024 at 3:00 PM at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery on Lookout Mountain.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects on Monday from 11:00 AM - 2:00 PM at the Trenton Chapel of Moore Funeral Home.

Jeanie was born to Alton and Brownie Stephens Ridley on August 22, 1961. Throughout her life, Jeanie would hold many roles from beloved daughter, sister, and wife to mother and grandmother and friend to many. She met the love of her life, David Francis, and married in 1982. It was not long after that she became a loving mother and later an adoring grandmother, a role she truly cherished more than anything. Jeanie was a faithful person and firmly believed in serving others and did so for many years as a nurse. 

She is survived by her devoted husband, David Francis; her sons, Brandon (Erica) Francis and Matthew Francis; her grandson and light of her life, Bentley Francis; her mother, Brownie Ridley; her sisters, Pamela Holt and Jacqueline (Marc) Hubbard; numerous extended family members and a host of friends that will remember Jeanie fondly. 

Jeanie was preceded in death by her father, Alton Ridley.

The family would like to thank the nurses of Hearth Hospice for their compassionate care of Jeanie during her final days.
