Jennifer Nicole McCreary was a loving daughter, wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and friend whose kindness and strength touched everyone who knew her. She passed away unexpectedly at the age of 46 on Thursday, May 28, 2026 at her home in Trenton, Georgia.
A funeral service to celebrate and honor Jennifer’s life will be held on Friday, June 5, 2026 at 2:00 PM ET in the Larry Moore Memorial Chapel of Moore Funeral Home with Bro. Dewayne Roberson and Bro. Eddie Cantrell officiating. Following the service, Jennifer will be laid to rest at Lake Hills Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends and loved ones at the funeral home on Thursday, June 4, 2026 from 4:00 - 8:00 PM ET and again on Friday from 12:00 PM until the funeral hour.
From the age of two, Jennifer courageously battled a seizure disorder that made many parts of life difficult. Despite the challenges she faced, she continued to live with love, determination, and a caring heart that never failed those around her. Jennifer shared a special bond with her beloved grandparents, Roy and June Gass. Many fond memories were made by their side, where she always felt comfort, love, and happiness. If you knew Jennifer, you also knew she was never far from her pens and paper. She loved having them close by, and her family will always smile, remembering the playful arguments with her siblings over the front seat of the car or fussing at Kelly for trying to use her pens.
Jennifer graduated from high school and dreamed of many things, but her seizure disorder prevented her from pursuing a career outside the home. Instead, she devoted herself wholeheartedly to her family, especially her children, Christy and Colby. Being their mother was one of the greatest joys of her life. Even through sickness and hardship, Jennifer gave her children unconditional love, guidance, and comfort. Her love for them was constant and unwavering.
More than anything, Jennifer will be remembered for her gentle spirit, her resilience, and the love she poured into her family every day. Though her life was not always easy, she faced it with courage and surrounded those she loved with warmth and devotion.
Jennifer’s memory will live on in the hearts of all who loved her. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband of more than 25 years, Dale McCreary; her children, Colby McCreary and Christy McCreary; her adored grandson, Waylon Pilcher; her mother, Wanda Gass Page; her siblings, Kelly (Toby) Smith, Suzie (Larry) Breedlove, and Clent (Tara) Page; her brother-in-law, James (Shawna) McCreary; and her aunt, Debbie (Terry) Atchley, along with numerous nieces and nephews, many extended family members and dear friends.
Jennifer was preceded in death by her father, William Coy “Sonny” Page; her father and mother-in-law, Michael McCreary and Carolyn Wooten; and her grandparents, Roy and June Gass and James I. "Bud" and Elda Belle Reeves Page.
The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to CBL Associative Properties for their kindness, compassion, and support shown during this difficult time. They would also like to extend a special thanks to Alex Case, Ansel Smith, Jerry Kyzer, the Dade County Sheriffs Office, and Dade County EMS Services.
In honor of Jennifer’s down-to-earth spirit, the family kindly asks those attending the service to dress comfortably—nothing too fancy, because that is exactly how Jennifer would have wanted it.
