JOE MURPHY RISING FAWN, GA: John “Joe” Madison Murphy, age 60, born March 31, 1954 passed away, Saturday, April 26, 2014. He was a 1972 graduate of Dade County High School; an outdoorsman and an avid sports fan and Atlanta Braves fan. He was a member of Trenton United Methodist Church. Survivors include his parents, John and Corrine Murphy; daughter, Carlee Joe Murphy, New York, NY; son, Patrick Milo Murphy, Harrison AR; sisters, Kay (John) Allan, Dayton, TN, Amy Westley, Trenton, GA and Anne (David) Warlick, Rising Fawn, GA; uncles, Pat Murphy and Jack Murphy; several nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held 2:00 PM EDT Monday, April 28, 2014 at Deer Head Cove Cemetery with Minister Reese Fauscett officiating.
