Joey Keith

Joseph "Joey" Leon Keith, age 78, of Trenton, Georgia, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 7, 2026.

A memorial service to celebrate Joey's life will be held at a later date.

Born on October 14, 1947, Joey was the son of the late Leon and Ruth Keith. He was of the Baptist faith and retired from Astec after many years of dedicated service.

Joey is survived by his brother, Hugh Don Keith (Kay); his sister-in-law, Sandy Keith; his two sons; and his nieces, Karen Keith Hewitt, Jill Keith Brock, and Penny Keith Cagle, all of whom loved him dearly.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Peggy Keith, and his brother, Ernie Keith.

Joey will be remembered for the love he shared with his family and friends, his infectious laughter, and the joy he brought to those around him. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
