Mr. John Carl Barnes

Johnny “John” Carl Barnes, 76, of Bryant, AL passed away on Wednesday, November 23, 2022 at his residence.
Graveside services will be held at 12:00 pm ct on Saturday, November 26, 2022 at Higdon Cemetery in Higdon, AL.
The family will receive friends from 11:00 am - 12:00 pm ct on Saturday at the Bryant Chapel of Moore Funeral Home.
John was born to the late John R. Barnes and Mary Elizabeth Davis on November 8, 1946. He was a proud veteran of the United States Navy and an avid Alabama football fan.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Sharon Barnes; brothers David and Danny Barnes; and sister, Mary Barnes Crabtree.
Left to cherish his memory are sisters, Linda Barnes, Debbie (Roger) Brooks and Glenda Taylor; step-children, Cherish (Chris) Sutherland and Ron Waldrop; grandchildren, Laelynn Sutherland, Lane Waldrop and Holden Waldrop; several nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
