Kathy Diane Reed

Kathy Diane Reed, 61, passed away on May 14th, 2023, at her home in Bryant, AL. She was born on June 1st, 1961, in Jasper, TN.

Kathy - a loving wife, mother, sister, and friend - will be deeply missed by all those who knew her. She was a kind and warm-hearted person who brightened up every room she walked into with her infectious smile and charming personality.

Kathy was a devoted wife to her husband of many years, Jerry Reed. Together they raised two wonderful children: their daughter Sheena Ellis and son Joshua Reed. Kathy's love for them knew no bounds and she delighted in watching them grow into the successful adults they are today.

Kathy is also survived by her sisters Vivian Dagnan, Betty Dagnan, Tammy Rush, Caroyln Steele, and Viola Shrum; brothers Steve Miller, Justin Dagnan, and Mike Dagnan; as well as one grandchild, Kristen Reed who brought her immense joy.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Silas Miller and Betty Jenkins; grandson, Logan Castleberry; brother David Miller; and sister, Jessie West.

Her family was everything to Kathy and she treasured every moment spent with them. The memories shared will continue to bring comfort to those left behind.

Kathy will always be remembered for her unwavering dedication to the things she held dear - her family and friends. She had a heart of gold that touched the lives of so many around her. May she rest in peace knowing that she was loved by all who knew her.
