Lorence “Buster” Brelen Holland, age 81, passed away peacefully at his home in Flat Rock, Alabama, on Tuesday, April 15, 2025.

A funeral service to honor Buster’s life will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, April 19th, in the Trenton Chapel of Moore Funeral Home. Family and friends are invited to pay their respects during visitation on Friday from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and again on Saturday from 11:00 AM until the service hour.

Buster lived life to the fullest. He was known for his joyful spirit, his love for people, and his talent for making any moment a little more fun. A true jack-of-all-trades, Buster was a skilled carpenter with a knack for fixing just about anything. He also enjoyed the art of distilling, a pastime that reflected his resourcefulness and creativity.

Above all, Buster loved his family deeply. He was a devoted father, a beloved brother, and a cherished friend to many. His legacy lives on through the love he shared and the stories he leaves behind.

He is survived by his daughters, Tina (Scott) Clark, Melissa (Tim) Cagle, and Misty (Mark) McDougal; his siblings, Hank Holland, Shelia Ellis, and Paul (Sandra) Holland; along with numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends who will forever hold him in their hearts.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Melvin and Juanita Holland; children, Samantha Holland and Joey Cagle; and his wife, Glenda Holland.

Buster will be remembered for his humor, his handiwork, his love of life, and most of all, the love he had for his family.
