TRENTON, GA: Manervia Jane (Janie) Smith, age 85, passed away April 15, 2015. She loved quilting, fishing, and all the outdoors. She was a member of Straightway Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, Jewell (Gus) Smith
Survivors include her daughter, Manervia Sue Smith; sons and daughters-in-law Pete and Jane Smith, Jay Merrill and Imogene Smith, James Dewey Smith, and Brent and Mary Joe Smith; fifteen grandchildren, twenty-nine great-grandchildren, and seven great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held 4:00 PM EDT, Friday, April 17, 2015 in the Bryant Chapel of Moore Funeral Home with Brother Gary Bone officiating. Interment will follow in Ebenezer Cemetery.
Visitation will be held Thursday 4:00 PM ~ 8:00 PM EDT Friday Noon ~ 4:00 PM
