Her life was a blessing, her memory a treasure.
Margaret Elizabeth Blevins, age 92, of Trenton, Georgia, passed away peacefully at her home on Monday, August 3, 2026, surrounded by the love of those who cherished her.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, August 5, 2026, in the Larry Moore Memorial Chapel of Moore Funeral Home in Trenton, Georgia. Brother Tim Renshaw will officiate. Margaret will be laid to rest at Deer Head Cove Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 4:00 – 8:00 PM and on Wednesday from 11:00 AM until the service hour.
Margaret was born on July 3, 1934, to the late James T. Comstock and Trena Bolin Comstock. She lived a life filled with love, kindness, and devotion to her family and friends.
In addition to her parents, Margaret was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Lewis G. Blevins; her cherished daughter, Diane Blevins Hildreth; three brothers and three sisters.
She leaves behind a loving family who will forever treasure her memory, including her son, Rickey (Melinda) Blevins; her grandchildren, Kelly (Jerome) Shankles and Kyle (Tiffany) Blevins; her precious great-grandchildren, Jace and Kyree Shankles and Karson and Kaidyn Blevins. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews, each of whom held a special place in her heart.
Margaret found great joy in working in her flower beds, sewing, and spending precious time with her family and friends. She had a gentle spirit, a caring heart, and a quiet strength that touched everyone who knew her. Her love, warmth, and beautiful example will be remembered always.
The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to the Tapestry Hospice Team of Trenton for the compassionate care, kindness, and support they provided to Margaret and her family during her final days.
Her life was a blessing, her memory a treasure. She was loved beyond words and will be missed beyond measure.
