MARY SPEARS ELLIOTT

Mary Spears Elliott, age 87, of Bryant, AL. passed away February 25, 2021. “Maw Maw” Mary, as she was known to most, was truly the picture of a virtuous woman as described in Proverbs 31. A member of the holiness faith, she loved God and her family above all.

She welcomed everyone into her home and no one ever left hungry. “Maw Maw” was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend. She was the pillar of her family and will be sorely missed by all who knew her. Her family and friends take comfort in knowing she is forever with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

She was preceded in death by her husbands Aubrey Spears and Ernest Elliott; son Darrell Spears; brothers Lloyd, Grady, James, William, and Joe Mashburn; sisters Susie Moore, Margie Robins, and Ruth Smith;

She is survived by her daughter Pat (Jerry) Jones; sons Larry (Kathy) Spears, Gary (Donna) Spears, Terry (Robin) Spears; ten grandchildren Lebron Spears, Jeff Spears, Amy Vest, Danielle Maples, Kami Green, Cassie Miles, Mandi Smith, Brandi High, Trevor Williams, Cody Williams; fifteen great-grandchildren; sister Helen Morton; brother Paul Mashburn; honorary daughter Linda Moore; nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, February 28, 2021 at 2:00 PM EST in the Bryant Chapel with Brother Steve Townson and Brother Reggie Byrum officiating. She will be laid to rest at Oak Lawn Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends Saturday 4:00 ~ 8:00 PM; Sunday 12:00 ~ 2:00 PM EST.
