Mrs. Mayme Ruth Vann

Mayme Ruth Vann, 93, of Bryant, AL passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 24, 2023.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 PM ET (11:00 AM CT) on Saturday, January 28, 2023 at the Bryant Chapel of Moore Funeral Home with Brother Dwight Kennedy and Pastor Darren Rogers officiating. Interment will follow at Oak Lawn Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends on Friday, January 27, 2023 from 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM ET and on Saturday from 11:00 AM until the funeral hour.
Mayme was born to the late Joe and Verna Bradley Perkins on March 23, 1929. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend, always giving generously to others and a valuable prayer warrior. She was a member of Ebenezer Baptist Church, Bryant, AL. Mayme loved her family and will be dearly missed by those who had the pleasure of knowing her.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Jana B. Green and brother, William P. Perkins.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband of sixty years, John G. Vann; daughter, Karen D. Vann (Ron Buffington); sons, Timothy J. Page (Kathy Page), Roger D. Page (Rebecca Page); grandchildren, Allison Stephens, Ashley Page, Josh Daniel, Heather Constant, Elliot Vann-Buffington; great-grandchildren, James Howard III, Jake Constant, Troy Daniel, Eli Daniel, Alec Daniel, Joshua Daniel, Liam Daniel, Livia Daniel, Roselynn Stephens, Richard Stephens IV, Rachel Stephens; nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
