Michele Sundean

Michele Denise Sundean, 55, of Ooltewah, Tennessee, passed away on Saturday, July 5, 2025.

Born on December 28, 1969, Michele lived a life filled with compassion, joy, and a deep love for both people and animals. She dedicated many years of her life to a career in health care, where she found purpose in caring for others. Her bubbly, outgoing personality left a lasting impression on everyone she met, and she had a unique gift for making people laugh and feel loved.

Michele adored animals, especially her beloved horses, cats, and dogs, and she found great joy and peace in their company.

She is survived by her children, Brooke (Dereck) Hyde, Allison (Wesley) Derryberry, and Daniel Murphy; grandchildren, Sidney Ferguson and Sawyer Hyde; five brothers; six sisters; twenty-seven nieces and nephews; and many extended family members and dear friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ernest and Dorothy Wilkins, and her brother, Matt Arner.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, July 10, 2025, in the Trenton Chapel of Moore Funeral Home, with Pastor Joseph Arner officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 12:00 PM until the service hour.

Michele’s warmth, laughter, and boundless heart will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
