Noah Workman

Noah Wilson Workman, age 82, of Bryant, Alabama, passed away peacefully at his home on Wednesday, August 5, 2026.

Born on October 25, 1943, in Higdon, Alabama, Noah was a retired carpenter and a member of Carpenters Local Union No. 74. A friendly and outgoing man, he enjoyed spending time with others and rarely met a stranger. He especially enjoyed having breakfast and visiting with his friends at the Flat Rock Four Way.

Noah enjoyed golfing and cheering on the Alabama Crimson Tide. He was a former Shriner and a member of Masonic Lodge No. 920 and North Sand Mountain Order of the Eastern Star Chapter No. 544. He was also a faithful member of East Brow Baptist Church.

He is survived by his children, Todd (Vickie) Workman, Kathy (Mark) Winans and Kelly (Amanda) Workman; special friend, Sue Daniels; grandchildren, Chasity (Taylor) Harrington, Tabitha (Josh) Collins, Kyle (Angel) Workman, Tori (Ean) Miles, Ezra Workman and Brantley Workman; great-grandchildren, Travis Azbill, Olivia Harrington, Sophie Bishop, Hadlee Collins, Kaiden Collins, Elijah Miles, Macy Cornelison, Jasper Cornelison and Justin Cornelison; sisters, Deloris (Glen) Norris and Denise (George) Wilson; brother, Clyde Workman; along with many extended family members and friends.

Noah was preceded in death by his wife, Opal Workman; parents, Woodrow Wilson Workman and Maggie Elizabeth Holloway; sisters, Geraldine Johnson, Wilma Tinker and Sharon Barnes; and brothers, Sammy Workman and Junior Workman.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM ET on Saturday, August 8, 2026, in the Bryant Chapel of Moore Funeral Home with Brother Rusty Revis officiating. Noah will be laid to rest at Higdon Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, August 7, from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM ET and on Saturday from 10:00 AM until the service hour.
