Mr. Paul Roger Pugh

October 19, 1950 — July 18, 2022

Paul Roger Pugh, 71, of Flat Rock, AL., transitioned to his eternal home July 18, 2022.
He was born October 19, 1950 in Monroe, GA, the son of the late Lester Paul and Margarett Brown Pugh.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his younger brother, Jerry Lee Pugh; father-in-law Jack Tuttle; brother-in-law Jackie Tuttle.

Some of his favorite accomplishments included his first job at Perry Garrett’s Barbeque in Monroe, Ga., attending veterinarian classes at the University of Georgia in Athens, GA., and working on the MARTA Rail System in Atlanta, GA. during its inaugural years. After moving to the Chattanooga area, he worked as a carpenter and delivery driver for Flav-O-Rich Milk until he opened his own collision and body repair shop.

In his spare time, he was a talented artist who was able to convey a person’s personality in his pencil sketches. He also picked and strummed tunes on his accoustic Yamaha guitar. Many songs were created as he sang along.

On October 6, 1990, he married the love of his life, Karen Tuttle Pugh.
